When the newest Collector and Limited Edition
Barbie® dolls are unveiled, I always gasp with excitement
and immediately try to figure out which ones will join my
collection. The creative minds and designers at Mattel®
never cease to amaze me with each newly-debuted beautiful
Barbie® doll. But for many of us who fell in love with
Barbie® as children, Collector and Limited Edition Barbie® dolls had not been created yet. It was the
Playline Barbie® dolls that evoked our emotions and had us
pleading with our moms to buy them for us. And it is the
original Playline Barbie® dolls that are still so highly
sought after today.
Honoring that Love-at-first-sight experience little girls
have had for years when they see Barbie® doll on the toy
shelves, I am featuring my favorite continuing series from
the 2004/2005 Barbie® Playline, Fairytopia™. Whether you
