The Dolls Of The World Series 

The Dolls of the World Series was originally the International Series, and began in 1980 with three dolls: #1600 Parisian Barbie®, #1601 Royal Barbie®, and #1602 Italian Barbie®. Quickly growing in popularity, these reasonably priced dolls introduced many people to collecting Barbie. After 20 years, the longest running Barbie series, filled with brightly costumed dolls that offered world culture and customs to thousands, evolved with the turn of a new millennium, and the Dolls of the World~The Priness Collection was born!

The Princess Collection began with #28372 Princess of the French Court, #28373 Princess of the Incas, and #28374 Princess of India. These richly costumed dolls, along with historical story text on the reverse of each box, have opened a portal to the past in which to view ancient cultures. Exotic and enchanting Barbie doll, in the remarkable Princess of the World Collection, has elegantly taken the Dolls of the World Series forward while taking us to the past.
